Raleigh, NC - November 8, 2008

The North Carolina Lung Cancer Partnership, the National Lung Cancer Partnership's first chapter, organized the second annual Free to Breathe® 5K in Raleigh, NC and also organized a race in Greensboro, NC to raise awareness and research funding for lung cancer.

The Free to Breathe® Raleigh 5K took place on November 8, 2008. Nearly 1,000 people participated in the event and the North Carolina chapter raised over $100,000 for research.
